CSHARK team developed a mobile application for Android for OmegaLambdaTec, the German data analysis company.
The goal of the project was the development and design of an Android mobile application. The client needed a fast, flexible, and scalable mobile app that can be updated and improved in the future. The project was managed with the use of the Agile approach, and the team was in daily contact with the client throughout the phone conversations, video-calls, and Slack.
The project was related to a smart IoT solution. The client has a wrist wearable that pulls information from a professional or amateur athlete’s organism. While in physical exertion, human sweat produces enough information to read and optimize future workout. The routine can then be used to change long-standing health-related habits.
The wrist wearable is equipped with 4 sensors (each measuring a different electrolyte concentration) and a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) antenna. The application measures the raw electric data from the BLE antenna and converts it to concentration values taken from the hardware, which are displayed in real-time on a portable device (smartphone and tablet). Those data are then stored for a future, possible access, also from the cloud.
