Senior React/Frontend Developer

We are implementing a greenfield project in the area of digital transformation, that is currently in the proof-of-concept phase.

The project aims to support millions of car and road users in their everyday use of public services. All project and system aspects are created from an idea, with strong business and legal needs. You will work with interdisciplinary teams located in several cities, the management of the project is based on Agile principles (SCRUM/KANBAN). On some occasions you will be required to travel to EU countries for typical project meetings; however, most of the work is done from CSHARK offices or on a remote basis.

We are looking for a developer familiar with coding in JavaScript. You should be familiar with the full frontend process and comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-changing environment. Ideally, the candidate will have an interest in working with React.js.

Main Responsibilities:

You’re a perfect fit if you:

  • Developing new greenfield project in digital transformation area

  • Deliver frontend part of application

  • Prototyping new versions of the product using React

  • You will be involved in designing and development of new solutions

  • Implementing a backend for frontend with GraphQL

  • Development of the code according to the TDD method

  • Being a part of our agile development process

  • Working with BA’s and internal teams to ensure that features are being developed and supported

  • Have at least 3 years experience in JavaScript

  • Have mandatory experience with React.js

  • Have practical experience in test-driven development

  • Have at least some experience building public-facing systems which are secure, performant, highly scalable, and remotely maintainable

  • Have practical experience of the design and development of multi-layer applications (not mandatory but nice-to-have)

  • Display English language skills at B2 level – the team you’ll be working with is international

  • Use Sass for styling (not mandatory but nice-to-have)

  • Have some experience with the financial services/banking/insurance industry sectors (not mandatory but nice-to-have)
