Scrum Master

For our internationally developed projects, we are looking for established SCRUM Masters. The projects we work with relate to cross-technology product development, including RegTech, FinTech, digital transformation, Industry 4.0 or VR/AR and robotics.

You will work with interdisciplinary teams located in several cities, the management of the projects is based on Agile principles (SCRUM/KANBAN). On some occasions you will be required to travel to EU countries for project meetings; however most of the work is done from CSHARK offices.

Main Responsibilities:

You’re a perfect fit if you:

  • Be a mentor to the teams on Agile methodology

  • Lead teams as a Scrum Master for 2 or more concurrent teams

  • In conjunction with the Product Owners or Client’s representatives proactively manage the backlog of stories, tasks, and defects

  • Facilitate code reviews with development team members

  • Manage and facilitate daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint demo, retrospective meetings and resolve blocking issues as required

  • Manage, document, and track development team progress and metrics

  • Ensure milestones are reached and deadlines are met throughout the project lifecycle

  • Work with IT management and product owners on project reporting, MVP definition, trade- offs, backlog management, and issue resolution

  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, application users, project leads, business analysts, software engineers, and infrastructure team members

  • Act as a catalyst to achieve successful, incremental product releases and project completion

  • 2+ years of experience in software development planning and/or software product management

  • 2+ years of experience in the Scrum master role for a software development team diligently applying Scrum principles and practices

  • We’d expect the person to have Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or Business

  • Fluent English in speech and writing

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) preferred

  • Ability to work quickly in a remote-teams iterative development environment
